
New PC, Turning on your computer for the first time:
1. Ensure the following connections before attempting to power on for the first time:
a. Power Cable
b. HDMI/Display Port connection to a Monitor
c. Ethernet Cable(if available, otherwise WiFi will be used)
d. Keyboard & Mouse
2. Push the power button on the front of the computer tower one time. The computer may take 20-30 minutes to boot up for the first time
3. Set-up Questions – once the computer comes on you will see a blue screen with thse questions: a. Connect to a Network & click “Next” – connect using ethernet preferably, select a WiFi connection only if you do not have the means to be hard wired in via an ethernet cable
b. Click “Yes” on the pop up, then “Next” – Do you want to allow your PC to be discoverable by other PCs and devices on this network? We recommend allowing this on your home and work networks, but not public ones.”
4. Logging in – the computer will take you to a screen with the time and date. Click anywhere on the screen and select the LFG User Account. The password is Legacy2019!
5. You may be prompted with a Windows Security Alert about the ScanSnap Home monitor, click “Allow Access”
